In 1996, Peter A. Blum retired from the NCPD Homicide Sqd. A few years later he became the Sandals sales Manager at Cook Travel of Athens AL, NY and Nashville TN. Peter assisted the owner of Cook Travel, Sally Lewis-Collier become one of the countries top Sandals and Beaches preferred Agencies. They have received the Sandals Best of the best award for the past 7 years, based on their working knowledge of Sandals, Beaches, Grand Pineapple and Royal Plantation resorts. They 1st heard Rory Frankson sing at the 2005 Star Awards.
In 2007, Sandals Resorts Chairman Butch Stewart and CEO Adam Stewart announced that they were going to increase the quality of entertainment at all Sandals and Beaches resorts. Peter began discussions with Adam Stewart and Sandals Director Sean DaCosta about an exchange program with USA and Caribbean musicians to sing at Sandals Resorts and the USA. During the process, Peter began developing relationships with amazing musicians. They were all thrilled with the opportunity to perform.
SPI Entertainment Inc. was formed in 2008 with the assistance of Brad English Esq of RCFllp. SPI is dedicated to the concept of "giving back" and assisting talented musicians through out the USA and Caribbean in the development, production and marketing of their talents. Rory Frankson was the 1st CD produced by SPI. Rory recorded his 1st CD in Mount Hollywood recording Studio with many of the talented musicians Peter met over the years.
